As a Hybrid Algorithmic Bias Auditor at IBM Switzerland, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the ethical and fair deployment of our AI systems and solutions. You will be responsible for identifying, analyzing, and mitigating biases within complex algorithms across various IBM products and client projects. This hybrid role requires a blend of technical expertise, analytical rigor, and a deep understanding of ethical AI principles. You will collaborate with data scientists, engineers, product managers, and legal teams to develop and implement best practices for AI fairness and transparency.

Hauptverantwortlichkeiten

• Conduct thorough audits of AI models and algorithms to identify potential biases related to data, design, and deployment.
• Develop and apply quantitative and qualitative methodologies for bias detection and measurement.
• Collaborate with development teams to implement bias mitigation strategies and ensure compliance with internal guidelines and external regulations.
• Document audit findings, recommendations, and mitigation actions clearly and comprehensively.
• Contribute to the development of internal tools, frameworks, and best practices for ethical AI and algorithmic fairness.
• Educate internal stakeholders on the risks of algorithmic bias and the importance of responsible AI development.
• Stay abreast of the latest research, trends, and regulatory changes in AI ethics and fairness.
• Participate in cross-functional teams to integrate fairness considerations throughout the AI lifecycle.

Erforderliche Fähigkeiten

• Fluent in English (written and spoken)
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Proficiency in Python or R for data analysis and statistical modeling
• Experience with machine learning frameworks (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch, scikit-learn)
• Understanding of fairness metrics and bias detection techniques (e.g., disparate impact, equalized odds)
• Knowledge of ethical AI principles and responsible technology frameworks
• Excellent communication and collaboration abilities
