Stellenbeschreibung

We are seeking a visionary Hybrid Carbon Capture Technology Lead to spearhead our efforts in developing and implementing cutting-edge carbon capture solutions. This pivotal role involves leading a multidisciplinary team, overseeing research and development initiatives, and driving the strategic direction of our carbon capture portfolio. The ideal candidate will possess deep expertise in carbon capture technologies, a strong understanding of hybrid systems, and a passion for environmental sustainability. You will be instrumental in translating scientific breakthroughs into scalable, commercially viable applications.

Hauptverantwortlichkeiten

  • Lead and manage a team of engineers and scientists focused on hybrid carbon capture technology development.
  • Define and execute R&D strategies, roadmaps, and project plans for advanced carbon capture solutions.
  • Drive the selection, evaluation, and integration of various carbon capture technologies (e.g., amine-based, membrane, direct air capture) into hybrid systems.
  • Oversee the design, simulation, and experimental validation of new carbon capture processes and components.
  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders, including academic institutions, industry partners, and regulatory bodies.
  • Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior team members, fostering a culture of innovation and excellence.
  • Monitor industry trends, competitor activities, and regulatory changes to inform strategic decision-making.
  • Ensure compliance with all safety, environmental, and quality standards in project execution.
  • Prepare technical reports, presentations, and patent applications as required.

Erforderliche Fähigkeiten

  • Ph.D. or Master's degree in Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Environmental Engineering, or a related field.
  • Minimum 8 years of experience in carbon capture technologies, with a focus on hybrid systems.
  • Demonstrated leadership experience in R&D or project management within a relevant industry.
  • Proficiency in process simulation software (e.g., Aspen Plus, gPROMS).
  • Strong understanding of thermodynamics, mass transfer, and fluid dynamics principles.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
  • Fluent in English, both written and spoken.

Bevorzugte Qualifikationen

  • Experience with pilot plant design, operation, and data analysis.
  • Knowledge of techno-economic analysis and life cycle assessment for carbon capture projects.
  • Familiarity with various CO2 utilization pathways.
  • German language proficiency.
