Stellenbeschreibung
We are seeking a Hybrid Cognitive Psychology Researcher with a strong background in behavioral science to join our innovative research team. This role is crucial in understanding user behavior, decision-making processes, and cognitive biases to inform the design and development of our next-generation enterprise software solutions. You will be responsible for conducting rigorous research, applying psychological principles to real-world problems, and collaborating with product teams to translate insights into actionable recommendations. This is a hybrid role, requiring a presence at our Wilhelmsburg research hub, with flexibility for some remote work.
Hauptverantwortlichkeiten
- Design and execute empirical research studies, including experiments, surveys, and qualitative interviews, to investigate cognitive processes and behavioral patterns related to software usage.
- Develop and apply theoretical frameworks from cognitive psychology and behavioral economics to complex product challenges.
- Analyze complex datasets using statistical methods and appropriate software (e.g., R, Python, SPSS).
- Communicate research findings and actionable insights to diverse stakeholders, including product managers, designers, and engineers, through compelling presentations and reports.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate behavioral insights into product strategy, design, and user experience.
- Stay abreast of the latest research in cognitive psychology, behavioral science, and human-computer interaction.
- Contribute to the scientific community through internal publications, patents, or external conference presentations where appropriate.
Erforderliche Fähigkeiten
- Master's degree or higher in Cognitive Psychology, Behavioral Economics, Human-Computer Interaction, or a related field.
- Demonstrated expertise in designing and conducting quantitative and qualitative research studies.
- Proficiency in statistical analysis and data visualization tools (e.g., R, Python, Stata, SPSS).
- Strong understanding of experimental design, research methodologies, and statistical inference.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex research findings clearly.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team environment.
- Familiarity with ethical research practices and data privacy regulations.
