Stellenbeschreibung

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Painter / Decorator to join our dynamic team in Berlin-Mitte. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced professional to apply their craft in a variety of commercial and residential settings. You will be responsible for ensuring high-quality finishes and contributing to the aesthetic appeal and maintenance of our clients‘ properties. Fluency in German is NOT a requirement for this role, making it accessible to international talent.

Hauptverantwortlichkeiten

• Prepare surfaces for painting by scraping, sanding, priming, or sealing.
• Apply paint, varnish, and other finishes using brushes, rollers, and sprayers.
• Repair cracks and holes, prepare walls for wallpapering, and hang wallpaper as required.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment, adhering to all safety regulations.
• Estimate quantities of materials needed and report inventory requirements.
• Collaborate with other team members to ensure projects are completed efficiently and to high standards.
• Inspect finished surfaces to ensure quality and address any imperfections.

Erforderliche Fähigkeiten

• Proven experience as a Painter / Decorator.
• Thorough knowledge of painting techniques, materials, and tools.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work.
• Physical stamina to perform manual labor and lift heavy equipment.
• Basic English communication skills.

Bevorzugte Qualifikationen

• Formal apprenticeship or vocational training in painting and decorating.
• Experience with various types of finishes and decorative techniques.
• A valid German driving license (Class B).
• Knowledge of health and safety guidelines relevant to painting and decorating.
