Are you passionate about animal care and looking for a hands-on role in a vital industry? Bell Food Group is seeking a dedicated and reliable Poultry Farm Assistant to join our team in Winterthur. This role is crucial for the daily operations of our poultry facility, ensuring the health, welfare, and productivity of our birds. Hauptverantwortlichkeiten

• Perform daily feeding and watering of poultry according to established schedules and protocols.
• Clean and disinfect poultry housing, equipment, and surrounding areas to maintain high biosecurity standards.
• Collect, inspect, and package eggs, adhering to quality control guidelines.
• Monitor the health and well-being of the birds, identifying and reporting any signs of illness or distress to supervisors.
• Assist with vaccination, treatment, and other animal health programs under supervision.
• Operate and maintain basic farm machinery and equipment safely.
• Maintain accurate records of feed consumption, egg production, and other relevant farm data.
• Strictly adhere to all animal welfare regulations and company biosecurity policies.
• Contribute to a safe and organized working environment.

• Ability to perform physically demanding tasks, including lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods.
• High level of attention to detail and observational skills.
• Strong sense of responsibility, reliability, and punctuality.
• Willingness to learn and follow instructions diligently.

• Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
• Comfortable working in a farm environment, including varying temperatures and conditions.

Bevorzugte Qualifikationen

• Basic understanding of poultry farming practices and animal welfare principles.
• Familiarity with health and safety procedures in an agricultural context.
• Basic German language skills would be an advantage.
• Valid driving license (Category B or higher, experience with farm vehicles a plus).
