We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Procurement Specialist with a strong focus on international sourcing to join our dynamic team in Frankfurt. In this critical role, you will be responsible for identifying, evaluating, and managing a global network of suppliers to ensure the timely and cost-effective acquisition of high-quality goods and services. You will drive strategic sourcing initiatives, negotiate complex international contracts, and contribute to optimizing our global supply chain performance. This position requires excellent analytical skills, a deep understanding of international trade regulations, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, global environment.
Hauptverantwortlichkeiten
- Develop and implement international sourcing strategies aligned with company objectives.
- Identify, evaluate, and qualify new international suppliers based on cost, quality, and delivery performance.
- Negotiate international contracts, terms, and conditions with suppliers to achieve favorable outcomes.
- Manage supplier relationships, monitor performance, and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
- Conduct market analysis, spend analysis, and benchmarking to identify cost-saving opportunities.
- Ensure compliance with international trade regulations, customs, and import/export laws.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders (e.g., engineering, production, legal) to understand requirements and facilitate procurement processes.
- Mitigate supply chain risks, including geopolitical, economic, and logistical factors.
- Prepare and present reports on procurement performance, savings, and market trends.
- Utilize procurement software and tools to optimize sourcing activities and data management.
Erforderliche Fähigkeiten
- Proven experience in international procurement or sourcing (3+ years).
- Strong negotiation and contract management skills.
- Excellent understanding of global supply chain dynamics and logistics.
- Proficiency in international trade regulations, incoterms, and customs procedures.
- Advanced analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Fluent in English and German, both written and verbal.
- Proficiency with SAP or other major ERP systems.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, capable of engaging with diverse stakeholders globally.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a cross-functional team.
Bevorzugte Qualifikationen
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Economics, or a related field.
- Master's degree or relevant professional certifications (e.g., CPSM, CIPS).
- Experience with procurement in the industrial manufacturing or technology sector.
- Additional language proficiency (e.g., Mandarin, Spanish, French).
- Demonstrated experience in strategic sourcing and category management.
