Stellenbeschreibung

We are seeking a talented and experienced Shopify Developer to join our growing remote team. This is a 100% remote position, allowing you to work from anywhere within Switzerland. As a Shopify Developer, you will be responsible for building, maintaining, and optimizing Shopify e-commerce stores for our diverse range of clients. You will work closely with designers, project managers, and other developers to deliver high-quality, scalable, and user-friendly solutions. The ideal candidate will have a strong command of English, excellent problem-solving skills, and a proven track record of developing successful Shopify themes and apps.

Hauptverantwortlichkeiten

• Develop, test, and deploy custom Shopify themes and sections using Liquid, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
• Implement and customize Shopify apps to extend store functionality.
• Collaborate with UI/UX designers to translate design mockups into functional Shopify experiences.
• Optimize website performance, ensuring fast loading times and a smooth user experience.
• Integrate third-party APIs and services with Shopify stores.
• Perform regular audits and maintenance to ensure the health and security of client stores.
• Provide technical expertise and recommendations on Shopify best practices and emerging trends.
• Participate in code reviews and contribute to improving development processes.
• Communicate effectively with clients and internal teams in English to understand requirements and provide updates.

Erforderliche Fähigkeiten

• Proficiency in Shopify theme development using Liquid.
• Strong command of HTML5, CSS3 (Sass/SCSS), and JavaScript (ES6+).
• Experience with front-end frameworks and libraries (e.g., React, Vue.js) is a plus.
• Familiarity with Shopify APIs and app development.
• Understanding of version control systems, particularly Git.
• Excellent problem-solving and debugging skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a remote team.
• Fluent in English, both written and verbal.

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• Experience with headless commerce setups using Shopify Storefront API.
