We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Supply Chain Manager with strong English language skills to join our dynamic team in Bruck an der Leitha. In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for overseeing and optimizing global logistics operations, ensuring efficiency, cost-effectiveness, and timely delivery across our intricate supply chain network. You will be instrumental in developing and implementing strategic supply chain initiatives, fostering strong relationships with international partners, and driving continuous improvement to meet our ambitious business objectives.
Hauptverantwortlichkeiten
- Develop and implement global supply chain strategies to enhance efficiency and reduce costs.
- Manage and optimize logistics operations, including transportation, warehousing, and inventory management.
- Oversee international freight forwarding activities and customs compliance.
- Negotiate contracts with suppliers, carriers, and third-party logistics providers.
- Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and report on supply chain performance.
- Identify and mitigate supply chain risks, ensuring business continuity.
- Lead and mentor a team of supply chain professionals, fostering a culture of excellence.
- Collaborate with internal departments (sales, procurement, production) to align supply chain activities with overall business goals.
- Implement and leverage supply chain management software and technologies.
- Ensure adherence to industry regulations and company policies.
Erforderliche Fähigkeiten
- Proven experience as a Supply Chain Manager or similar role in a global logistics environment.
- Excellent command of the English language (written and verbal).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in supply chain management software (e.g., SAP, Oracle SCM).
- Demonstrated ability to negotiate effectively and manage supplier relationships.
- In-depth knowledge of international shipping regulations and customs procedures.
- Strong leadership and team management capabilities.
