We are seeking a motivated and creative UI Design Intern to join our dynamic design team in Bern. This internship is an excellent opportunity for aspiring designers to gain hands-on experience in a fast-paced, innovative environment. You will work closely with experienced UI/UX designers, product managers, and engineers to contribute to the user interface of our next-generation products and digital experiences. This role is perfect for someone eager to learn, contribute fresh ideas, and grow their design skills within a supportive, international team where English is the primary working language.

Hauptverantwortlichkeiten

• Assist in the creation of user interface designs, wireframes, and prototypes for various digital products and applications.
• Collaborate with senior designers to understand project requirements and translate them into intuitive and engaging UI solutions.
• Contribute to user research activities, including competitive analysis and usability testing.
• Prepare design assets and specifications for development teams.
• Participate in design reviews, providing constructive feedback and iterating on designs based on input.
• Stay updated on industry trends, design tools, and best practices to continually enhance personal and team knowledge.

Erforderliche Fähigkeiten

• Proficiency in English (written and spoken).
• Familiarity with design software such as Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD, or similar.
• Basic understanding of UI/UX principles and user-centered design methodologies.
• A strong portfolio showcasing academic or personal design projects.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Currently enrolled in or recently graduated from a degree program in Design, HCI, Computer Science, or a related field.

Bevorzugte Qualifikationen

• Experience with prototyping tools (e.g., ProtoPie, Principle).
• Basic knowledge of front-end development (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) is a plus.
• Understanding of accessibility guidelines and inclusive design practices.
• Previous internship or project experience in a design-related role.
