Are you a student passionate about hands-on hardware development and eager to gain practical experience in a leading semiconductor company? We are looking for a motivated Working Student to join our Hardware Prototyping team in Dresden. In this role, you will support the design, assembly, testing, and documentation of innovative hardware prototypes for various applications. This is an excellent opportunity to apply your theoretical knowledge, learn from experienced engineers, and contribute to cutting-edge projects. We welcome international students and English is our working language within the team.

Hauptverantwortlichkeiten

• Assist in the design and layout of printed circuit boards (PCBs).
• Assemble and solder electronic components for prototype boards.
• Conduct functional testing and debugging of hardware prototypes.
• Support the documentation of hardware designs, test procedures, and results.
• Maintain and organize the hardware lab environment and equipment.
• Collaborate with senior engineers on various project tasks and problem-solving.
• Contribute to the procurement and management of electronic components.

Erforderliche Fähigkeiten

• Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's or Master's degree program in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, Mechatronics, or a related field.
• Basic understanding of analog and digital electronics.
• Hands-on experience with soldering and basic lab equipment (oscilloscopes, multimeters, power supplies).
• Proficiency in English (written and spoken).
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Bevorzugte Qualifikationen

• Familiarity with PCB design software (e.g., Altium Designer, Eagle, KiCad).
• Experience with microcontrollers (e.g., Arduino, ESP32) and basic programming (C/C++).
• Knowledge of Python for scripting or data analysis.
• Prior experience in hardware prototyping or a similar lab environment.
• Basic understanding of semiconductor devices.
