We are seeking an experienced Hybrid Telecommunications Systems Architect to join our dynamic team in Lausanne. In this hybrid role, you will be instrumental in designing, implementing, and optimizing complex telecommunications systems and networks that bridge traditional and next-generation technologies. You will work on critical infrastructure projects, ensuring high performance, scalability, and security of our telecom services. Hauptverantwortlichkeiten

• Lead the architectural design and evolution of hybrid telecommunications systems, integrating traditional and IP-based networks.
• Define technical specifications, standards, and best practices for system development and deployment.
• Evaluate new technologies and solutions, recommending strategic investments and implementation plans.
• Collaborate with engineering, operations, and product teams to ensure architectural alignment and successful project delivery.
• Perform system capacity planning, performance tuning, and troubleshoot complex architectural issues.
• Develop comprehensive documentation including architecture diagrams, design documents, and operational guides.
• Ensure compliance with industry standards, regulatory requirements, and internal security policies.

Erforderliche Fähigkeiten

• Proven experience as a Telecommunications Systems Architect or similar role.
• Deep understanding of core telecom networks (PSTN, Mobile Core, NGN) and IP networking principles (TCP/IP, BGP, OSPF).
• Expertise in various telecommunications protocols (SIP, SS7, Diameter, GTP).
• Strong knowledge of virtualization technologies (NFV, SDN) and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
• Experience with network security principles and implementation.
• Proficiency in network design tools and simulation software.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Fluent in English and German or French.

• Master's degree in Telecommunications, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Relevant industry certifications (e.g., CCIE, JNCIE, TOGAF).
• Experience with automation and orchestration tools (e.g., Ansible, Kubernetes).

• Experience in a large-scale, enterprise telecommunications environment.
