This hands-on internship provides a unique opportunity to gain practical experience in professional translation, localization workflows, and CAT tool usage within a dynamic, international team. Hauptverantwortlichkeiten

• Translate and proofread content from German to English, ensuring accuracy, cultural relevance, and linguistic quality.
• Assist senior translators and project managers with various localization tasks.
• Learn to use industry-standard Computer-Assisted Translation (CAT) tools (e.g., Trados Studio).
• Contribute to the maintenance of translation memories and terminology glossaries.
• Participate in quality assurance processes for translated materials.
• Research terminology and cultural nuances to ensure high-quality translations.
• Support administrative tasks related to translation projects as needed.

Erforderliche Fähigkeiten

• Native or near-native proficiency in German (source language).
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English (target language).
• Strong understanding of grammar, syntax, and style in both languages.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• High attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.

Bevorzugte Qualifikationen

• Currently enrolled in or recently graduated from a degree program in Translation, Linguistics, German Studies, English Studies, or a related field.
