Are you a proactive and eager individual looking to kickstart your career in Information Technology? UBS is seeking an IT Support Intern to join our dynamic team in Sion, Switzerland. This internship offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in a fast-paced, international banking environment where English is the primary language of communication. You will work alongside experienced IT professionals, contributing to the smooth operation of our IT systems and supporting our colleagues with their technical needs. Hauptverantwortlichkeiten

• Provide first-level technical support to internal users, resolving hardware and software issues.
• Assist in the installation, configuration, and maintenance of computer systems, networks, and peripherals.
• Troubleshoot common IT problems, including network connectivity, application errors, and user account management.
• Document support tickets and resolutions in the IT service management system.
• Support the IT team with various administrative tasks and project-based work.
• Contribute to the creation and updating of IT documentation and user guides.
• Participate in IT asset management, including inventory and deployment of equipment.

Erforderliche Fähigkeiten

• Strong verbal and written communication skills in English (C1 level or higher).
• Basic understanding of computer hardware, operating systems (Windows, macOS), and common software applications (MS Office Suite).
• Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Proactive attitude and a strong desire to learn new technologies.
• Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree/diploma in IT, Computer Science, or a related field.

Bevorzugte Qualifikationen

• Familiarity with IT service management tools (e.g., ServiceNow).
• Basic knowledge of network fundamentals (TCP/IP, Wi-Fi).
• Previous experience with remote desktop support tools.
• Knowledge of an additional Swiss national language (German, French, or Italian) is a plus.
