Accenture is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Hybrid Data Governance Officer to join our dynamic team in Geneva. In this critical role, you will be instrumental in establishing, implementing, and maintaining robust data governance frameworks across various client engagements, ensuring data quality, privacy, security, and compliance. You will work closely with data owners, stewards, and technical teams to define data standards, policies, and procedures, fostering a culture of data excellence. This hybrid role offers the flexibility of working both on-site at client locations or our Geneva office and remotely, allowing for collaborative and independent work.

Hauptverantwortlichkeiten

• Develop, implement, and maintain data governance policies, standards, and procedures in alignment with regulatory requirements and business objectives.
• Define and monitor key data quality metrics, ensuring the accuracy, completeness, and consistency of critical data assets.
• Collaborate with data owners and stewards to establish data definitions, business glossaries, and data lineage documentation.
• Facilitate data governance committees and working groups, driving discussions and decisions related to data stewardship, access, and usage.
• Assess data risks and implement controls to ensure data privacy (e.g., GDPR, Swiss DPA) and security compliance.
• Provide training and awareness programs to promote data governance best practices across the organization and client teams.
• Lead efforts in data classification, retention, and archiving strategies.
• Support the selection and implementation of data governance tools and technologies.

Erforderliche Fähigkeiten

• Minimum 4 years of experience in data governance, data management, or related roles.
• Strong understanding of data governance frameworks, principles, and best practices (e.g., DAMA-DMBOK).
• Proven experience with data quality, data lineage, metadata management, and master data management (MDM) concepts.
• Familiarity with data privacy regulations (e.g., GDPR, Swiss DPA) and industry compliance standards.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
• Proficiency in English; French or German is a plus.

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Certifications in data governance (e.g., CDMP) or related areas.
• Experience with data governance tools (e.g., Collibra, Informatica, Alation).

• Experience in the financial services or pharmaceutical industry.
