We are seeking a dedicated and vigilant Lifeguard to join the team at our international pool facility in Leverkusen. This role is crucial for ensuring the safety and well-being of all our guests using the swimming pool and surrounding areas. The ideal candidate will be proficient in English, hold valid lifeguard certifications, and possess a strong sense of responsibility and customer service. You will be a key part of our leisure team, contributing to a positive and secure experience for our diverse international clientele.

Hauptverantwortlichkeiten

• Supervise the swimming pool area to prevent accidents and ensure guest safety.
• Enforce pool rules and regulations fairly and consistently.
• Administer first aid and CPR as needed, responding effectively to emergencies.
• Perform routine checks of pool equipment and water quality, reporting any issues.
• Maintain cleanliness and orderliness of the pool deck, changing rooms, and surrounding areas.
• Provide excellent customer service, assisting guests with inquiries and needs.
• Participate in regular training and refresher courses to maintain certification and skills.
• Assist with opening and closing procedures of the pool facility.
• Communicate clearly and effectively with guests and colleagues, particularly in English.

Erforderliche Fähigkeiten

• Valid Lifeguard certification (e.g., DLRG Bronze/Silver or equivalent international certification).
• Current First Aid and CPR/AED certification.
• Excellent swimming proficiency and water rescue skills.
• Fluent in English (verbal communication).
• Strong observational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to remain calm and effective in emergency situations.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Minimum 6 months of experience in a lifeguarding role.

• Additional language skills (e.g., German, French, Spanish).
• Experience in a hotel or international leisure facility setting.
• Pool Operator/Water Safety Instructor certification.
• Previous experience working with diverse international guests.
