Stellenbeschreibung

We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Quality Engineer with a strong background in the automotive industry to join our team in Pully, Vaud. The successful candidate will be instrumental in ensuring the highest quality standards for our automotive products and processes, from development to production. You will collaborate closely with various departments, including R&D, manufacturing, and supply chain, to implement and maintain robust quality management systems and drive continuous improvement initiatives. This role requires fluency in English and a deep understanding of automotive quality methodologies.

Hauptverantwortlichkeiten

• Develop, implement, and maintain quality assurance processes and procedures in line with automotive industry standards (e.g., IATF 16949, VDA).
• Conduct root cause analysis of quality issues, implement corrective and preventive actions (8D, 5 Whys, Ishikawa), and verify their effectiveness.
• Support product development teams from concept to launch, ensuring quality targets are met through APQP, PPAP, and FMEA activities.
• Perform internal and external audits (supplier audits, process audits) to assess compliance and identify areas for improvement.
• Analyze quality data, prepare reports, and present findings to management, recommending strategic quality improvements.
• Collaborate with suppliers to establish and monitor quality agreements and resolve quality-related issues.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives using Lean and Six Sigma methodologies.
• Act as a key contact for customer quality concerns and facilitate effective communication and resolution.

Erforderliche Fähigkeiten

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial, or equivalent).
• Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Quality Engineer within the automotive industry.
• Proficiency in automotive quality core tools: APQP, PPAP, FMEA, MSA, SPC.
• Strong knowledge of IATF 16949 / ISO 9001 quality management systems.
• Demonstrated ability to perform root cause analysis and implement corrective actions.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
• Fluent in English (written and spoken).

Bevorzugte Qualifikationen

• Master's degree in a relevant engineering field.
• Certified Quality Engineer (CQE) or Six Sigma Green/Black Belt certification.
• Experience with VDA standards (e.g., VDA 6.3).
• Proficiency in German or French.
• Experience with quality software tools and statistical analysis software.
