Are you a true animal lover with a knack for understanding canine companions? Pawsitive Pet Care Baar is seeking a compassionate and responsible Dog Sitter / Pet Walker to join our growing team. This is a fantastic opportunity for individuals who enjoy working outdoors, have a genuine affection for animals, and can communicate effectively in English. You will be responsible for providing daily care, exercise, and companionship to dogs and other pets in their owners‘ homes, ensuring their safety and well-being. We are looking for someone reliable, trustworthy, and dedicated to delivering outstanding service.

Hauptverantwortlichkeiten

• Safely walk dogs for scheduled periods, ensuring appropriate exercise and potty breaks.
• Provide in-home pet sitting services, including feeding, watering, and administering medication as needed.
• Engage pets in play and provide companionship to reduce loneliness and anxiety.
• Maintain a clean and safe environment for pets, including cleaning up after walks and accidents.
• Communicate regularly and effectively with pet owners, providing updates and photos.
• Adhere to specific pet care instructions provided by owners.
• Report any unusual behavior, health concerns, or incidents promptly to pet owners and management.
• Manage scheduling and punctuality for all appointments.

Erforderliche Fähigkeiten

• Genuine love and compassion for animals, especially dogs.
• Excellent communication skills in English (verbal and written).
• Reliability, punctuality, and a strong sense of responsibility.
• Physical fitness and ability to walk dogs in various weather conditions.
• Basic understanding of animal behavior and safety.
• Trustworthiness and a professional demeanor.

Bevorzugte Qualifikationen

• Previous experience in pet sitting, dog walking, or animal care.
• Knowledge of basic dog training techniques.
• Pet First Aid and CPR certification.
• Valid driver’s license and access to a reliable vehicle.
• Familiarity with the Baar and surrounding Zug area.
