We are seeking an experienced Data Scientist to join our dynamic team in Zurich. This role is crucial for leveraging data to drive strategic decisions and improve product performance across various Google initiatives. You will work with vast datasets, applying advanced analytical techniques, machine learning models, and statistical methods to uncover insights, predict trends, and optimize user experiences. We are a highly international team, and proficiency in German is not a requirement for this position. Hauptverantwortlichkeiten

• Design and implement end-to-end analytical solutions, from data extraction and cleaning to model deployment and interpretation.
• Develop and apply statistical models and machine learning algorithms to solve complex business problems.
• Conduct in-depth data analysis to identify trends, patterns, and insights that inform product strategy and development.
• Collaborate with product managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to define metrics, design experiments, and evaluate impact.
• Communicate complex analytical findings and recommendations clearly and concisely to technical and non-technical audiences.
• Build and maintain robust data pipelines and dashboards for monitoring key performance indicators.
• Stay abreast of the latest advancements in data science, machine learning, and artificial intelligence, and integrate new techniques where appropriate.

Erforderliche Fähigkeiten

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, or a related quantitative field.
• 3+ years of experience in a Data Scientist or similar analytical role.
• Strong proficiency in SQL and Python or R for data manipulation, analysis, and statistical modeling.
• Experience with machine learning frameworks (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch, scikit-learn).
• Solid understanding of statistical concepts, experimental design, and A/B testing.
• Ability to translate business problems into quantitative questions and actionable insights.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills in English.

• Master's or Ph.D. in a quantitative field.
• Experience with big data technologies (e.g., Hadoop, Spark, Google Cloud Platform's BigQuery).
• Familiarity with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Looker, Google Data Studio).

• Demonstrated ability to drive projects from conception to completion independently.
