We are seeking a talented and innovative Fashion Designer with a strong focus on Brand Development to join our dynamic team in Neubau, Vienna. This role is crucial in shaping the aesthetic and identity of our collections, ensuring they align with Mango’s brand vision and resonate with our target audience. You will be instrumental in conceptualizing new designs, researching trends, and developing cohesive product lines that enhance our brand’s market position. Hauptverantwortlichkeiten
- Conduct extensive trend research, market analysis, and competitive landscape studies to inform new collection development.
- Translate conceptual ideas into compelling designs, including sketching, technical drawings, and mood boards.
- Develop and maintain brand guidelines for design, ensuring consistency across all product categories.
- Collaborate closely with product development, merchandising, and marketing teams to ensure designs meet production capabilities, cost targets, and brand messaging.
- Select fabrics, trims, and embellishments, ensuring they align with design vision and quality standards.
- Participate in fitting sessions, providing clear feedback for sample adjustments and improvements.
- Prepare comprehensive design presentations for internal stakeholders.
- Monitor sales performance and customer feedback to inform future design strategies.
- Stay updated on sustainable fashion practices and integrate them into design processes where possible.
Erforderliche Fähigkeiten
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign)
- Strong portfolio demonstrating creative design capabilities and brand understanding
- Excellent fashion illustration and technical drawing skills
- Deep understanding of textile properties, garment construction, and manufacturing processes
- Proven ability to identify and interpret fashion trends
- Strong communication and presentation skills
- Attention to detail and organizational abilities
Bevorzugte Qualifikationen
- Bachelor's degree in Fashion Design or a related field
- 3-5 years of professional experience in fashion design, with a focus on brand development or a similar role
- Experience with 3D design software (e.g., CLO3D, Optitex)
- Fluency in German (not mandatory but a plus)
- Experience working for an international fashion retailer
