We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Hybrid RF Engineering Lead to join our dynamic team in Hamburg. This pivotal role involves leading a team of RF engineers in the design, optimization, and deployment of cutting-edge wireless communication networks. The ideal candidate will possess deep expertise in RF planning, optimization, and performance analysis, with a strong focus on 5G and future wireless technologies. You will drive innovation, ensure network quality, and mentor junior engineers, contributing significantly to our next-generation wireless infrastructure. This is a hybrid role, requiring a balance of on-site collaboration and remote work.

Hauptverantwortlichkeiten

• Lead and mentor a team of RF engineers, fostering a culture of technical excellence and continuous improvement.
• Oversee the end-to-end RF design, planning, and optimization for 4G/5G mobile networks.
• Develop and implement RF strategies to enhance network performance, capacity, and coverage.
• Conduct complex RF propagation analysis and simulations using industry-standard tools.
• Troubleshoot and resolve intricate RF interference and performance issues.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including network deployment, operations, and product development.
• Stay abreast of emerging wireless technologies and industry trends, integrating new solutions as appropriate.
• Prepare detailed technical reports, presentations, and documentation for internal and external stakeholders.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and company best practices.

Erforderliche Fähigkeiten

• Proven experience as an RF Engineering Lead or Senior RF Engineer (8+ years).
• In-depth knowledge of 4G (LTE) and 5G NR RF principles, protocols, and technologies.
• Proficiency with RF planning and optimization tools (e.g., Atoll, Planet, TEMS Investigation, Actix Analyzer).
• Strong understanding of antenna theory, propagation models, and link budget analysis.
• Experience with network performance KPIs and drive testing.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Fluency in English (written and spoken).

Bevorzugte Qualifikationen

• Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Telecommunications, or a related field.
• Experience with cloud-native network architectures and virtualized RAN (vRAN).
• Familiarity with private network deployments and enterprise wireless solutions.
• German language proficiency.
