We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Pear Farm Assistant to join our team in Wädenswil, Switzerland. This is an exciting opportunity for individuals passionate about agriculture and eager to contribute to the growth and care of premium pears. No prior German language skills are required, as our farm operates with an English-speaking core team and provides comprehensive on-the-job training. You will be involved in various aspects of pear cultivation, from planting to harvesting, ensuring the health and productivity of our orchards.
Hauptverantwortlichkeiten
- Assist with planting, pruning, and training pear trees according to best agricultural practices.
- Participate in the harvesting and packing of pears, ensuring quality standards are met.
- Monitor orchard health, identifying and reporting signs of pests, diseases, or nutritional deficiencies.
- Operate and maintain farm machinery and irrigation systems under supervision.
- Perform general farm duties, including weeding, mulching, and field preparation.
- Contribute to the implementation of sustainable and organic farming methods.
- Adhere to all safety regulations and company policies.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment.

- Ability to perform physically demanding tasks, including lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods.
