Are you a budding UI Designer eager to kickstart your career in a dynamic international environment? AVL is seeking a motivated UI Design Intern to join our innovative team in Voitsberg. This is an incredible opportunity to apply your design skills to real-world projects, contributing to user interfaces for advanced automotive and software solutions. Hauptverantwortlichkeiten

• Assist in the design and development of intuitive and visually appealing user interfaces for various software applications and automotive systems.
• Collaborate with senior designers, product managers, and engineers to understand project requirements and user needs.
• Create wireframes, mockups, and prototypes to effectively communicate design ideas.
• Participate in user research, usability testing, and feedback sessions to iterate on designs.
• Ensure brand consistency and adherence to design guidelines across all projects.
• Help maintain and update design systems and UI component libraries.
• Stay informed about the latest UI/UX trends, tools, and best practices.

Erforderliche Fähigkeiten

• Basic understanding of UI/UX design principles and methodologies.
• Proficiency with design tools such as Figma, Adobe XD, Sketch, or similar.
• A portfolio demonstrating design projects (can include academic or personal work).
• Strong communication skills and ability to articulate design choices.
• Fluent in English, both written and verbal (German is a plus, but not required).
• Currently enrolled in or a recent graduate of a Bachelor's or Master's degree in UI/UX Design, Graphic Design, Interaction Design, or a related field.

Bevorzugte Qualifikationen

• Experience with motion graphics or animation tools.
• Familiarity with front-end development (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) is a bonus.
