We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Hybrid Cyber Warfare Threat Analyst to join our defense sector team. In this critical role, you will be responsible for identifying, analyzing, and mitigating advanced cyber threats targeting national defense systems. This position demands a deep understanding of cyber warfare tactics, techniques, and procedures (TTPs), strong analytical capabilities, and the ability to work effectively in a hybrid on-site and remote environment. You will contribute to the development of proactive defense strategies and provide actionable intelligence to protect our national assets.

Hauptverantwortlichkeiten

• Perform in-depth analysis of cyber threats, vulnerabilities, and incidents within the defense domain.
• Monitor threat intelligence sources to identify emerging TTPs from state-sponsored actors and cyber warfare groups.
• Develop and implement advanced detection rules, signatures, and countermeasures to protect critical systems.
• Conduct forensic analysis of security incidents to determine root cause, scope, and impact.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance security posture and incident response capabilities.
• Provide expert recommendations for security architecture improvements and policy enhancements.
• Prepare detailed reports and briefings on threat landscape, attack trends, and mitigation strategies for stakeholders.
• Stay abreast of the latest cybersecurity technologies, threat intelligence, and industry best practices.

Erforderliche Fähigkeiten

• Proven experience as a Cyber Threat Analyst or similar role, specifically in a defense or critical infrastructure context.
• In-depth knowledge of cyber warfare TTPs, APT groups, and geopolitical cyber threats.
• Proficiency in security information and event management (SIEM) tools, intrusion detection/prevention systems (IDS/IPS), and endpoint detection and response (EDR) platforms.
• Strong understanding of network protocols, operating systems (Windows, Linux), and cloud security principles.
• Experience with malware analysis, reverse engineering, and digital forensics.
• Familiarity with national and international cybersecurity frameworks (e.g., NIST, ISO 27001).
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills.
• Ability to communicate complex technical information clearly and concisely to diverse audiences.

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Relevant industry certifications (e.g., CISSP, GCIH, GCFA, CEH, CySA+).

• Prior experience working with classified information and understanding of relevant security clearances.
• Knowledge of Austrian and European defense policies and regulations.
