We are seeking a talented and motivated Hybrid QA Automation Engineer to join our innovative team in Graz. In this role, you will be instrumental in ensuring the quality and reliability of our complex software systems through a blend of automated and manual testing. You will collaborate closely with development, product management, and other QA teams in a hybrid work environment, contributing to the full software development lifecycle. Your expertise in designing, developing, and executing automated test scripts will be critical to our success.

Hauptverantwortlichkeiten

• Design, develop, and maintain robust automated test scripts and frameworks using industry-standard tools and programming languages.
• Execute comprehensive test plans, analyze test results, and identify, document, and track software defects.
• Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams (developers, product owners, other QA engineers) to understand requirements and ensure testability.
• Participate in agile ceremonies including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives.
• Perform functional, regression, integration, and performance testing, both automated and manual.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of QA processes, tools, and methodologies.
• Support releases and deployments, ensuring high-quality product delivery.

Erforderliche Fähigkeiten

• Proven experience in developing and executing automated tests using frameworks like Selenium, Playwright, or Cypress.
• Proficiency in at least one programming language such as Python, Java, C#, or JavaScript.
• Solid understanding of software QA methodologies, tools, and processes.
• Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git) and CI/CD pipelines.
• Familiarity with test management and defect tracking tools (e.g., Jira, Azure DevOps).
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively in an Agile development environment.

Bevorzugte Qualifikationen

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical field.
• Experience with API testing (e.g., Postman, SoapUI) and database testing.
• Knowledge of performance testing tools (e.g., JMeter, LoadRunner).
• Understanding of cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP) and containerization technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
• ISTQB certification or similar professional accreditation.
