We are seeking enthusiastic and reliable Basil Field Laborers to join our agricultural team in Wiener Neustadt, Lower Austria. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals who enjoy working outdoors and are committed to contributing to the production of high-quality fresh herbs for the Austrian market. No prior experience in agriculture is required, as comprehensive on-the-job training will be provided. We welcome applicants who speak English, ensuring clear communication within our diverse team.
Hauptverantwortlichkeiten
- Perform general field work related to basil cultivation, including planting, weeding, and watering.
- Carefully harvest basil plants by hand, ensuring quality and minimizing damage.
- Assist with sorting, cleaning, and preparing basil for packaging and transport.
- Operate basic hand tools and potentially light machinery under supervision.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization within the field and surrounding work areas.
- Follow all safety guidelines and procedures to ensure a safe working environment.
- Collaborate effectively with team members and supervisors to meet production targets.
Erforderliche Fähigkeiten
- Ability to perform physically demanding tasks, including lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods.
- Comfortable working outdoors in various weather conditions (heat, cold, rain).
