We are looking for enthusiastic and dedicated English native Camp Counselors to join our vibrant summer camp team in Graz, Austria! If you have a passion for working with young people, fostering a fun and safe environment, and creating memorable experiences, this is the perfect opportunity for you. As a Camp Counselor, you will be instrumental in delivering an engaging and enriching summer program for international students, helping them improve their English skills while enjoying a vibrant cultural experience. This temporary, on-site position offers a unique chance to make a real impact, develop leadership skills, and explore the beautiful region of Styria.

Hauptverantwortlichkeiten

• Lead and supervise groups of international students (ages 10-17) during daily activities, excursions, and evening events.
• Organize and facilitate engaging recreational, educational, and cultural activities.
• Ensure the safety, well-being, and positive experience of all campers at all times.
• Serve as a positive role model and mentor, encouraging student participation and interaction.
• Mediate conflicts and provide guidance, promoting a supportive and inclusive camp atmosphere.
• Assist with arrival and departure procedures, including check-ins and orientations.
• Communicate regularly with camp management regarding student progress and any concerns.
• Participate actively in staff meetings and training sessions.

Erforderliche Fähigkeiten

• Native English speaker.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong leadership and organizational abilities.
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
• Enthusiasm for working with young people from diverse backgrounds.
• Problem-solving skills and a proactive attitude.
• Valid first aid and CPR certification (or willingness to obtain).

• Previous experience in youth leadership, teaching, or camp counseling.
• Knowledge of German or other foreign languages.
• Experience living or working abroad.
• Skills in sports, arts, music, or other recreational activities.
