Are you a passionate and aspiring 3D Artist or Game Developer with a keen eye for detail and a drive to create immersive digital worlds? Unity Technologies is offering an exciting 3D Art/Gaming Internship in our Zurich office. This is a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience with industry-leading tools and contribute to real projects alongside experienced professionals. We value creativity and talent, and importantly, there is No German language requirement for this role – English is our primary working language.

Hauptverantwortlichkeiten

• Assist senior artists and developers in creating high-quality 3D assets, environments, and characters.
• Work on various stages of the art pipeline, including modeling, texturing, rigging, and animation.
• Implement assets into the Unity engine and optimize them for performance.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure artistic vision aligns with technical requirements.
• Participate in brainstorming sessions and contribute creative ideas for game features and visual styles.
• Conduct research and gather references to maintain artistic consistency and quality.
• Provide constructive feedback and iterate on designs based on team discussions.
• Maintain organized and efficient asset libraries and documentation.

Erforderliche Fähigkeiten

• Proficiency in 3D modeling software (e.g., Blender, Maya, 3ds Max).
• Strong understanding of PBR workflows and texturing tools (e.g., Substance Painter, Photoshop).
• Familiarity with the Unity engine and its art pipeline.
• A strong portfolio showcasing 3D art skills, including models, textures, and environments.
• Basic understanding of game development principles and art optimization.
• Excellent English communication skills (written and verbal).
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
• Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive attitude.

Bevorzugte Qualifikationen

• Experience with animation and rigging principles.
• Knowledge of scripting languages (e.g., C#) for tool development or engine integration.
• Experience with VFX creation within Unity.
• Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git).
• Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Game Art, 3D Animation, Computer Graphics, or a related field.
